i'm doin this roof.......7 in 12 pitch (30 deg for the const. illiterate)

162 sheets of ply on trusses 2 1/2 stories up, all by myself. something about 7 in 12 kills my ankles, a 6 in 12 don't do it and neither does a 9 in 12, but damn.......my feets hurts.

that sucks... i hate working on any kind of pitch.. used to do a bit of roofing and it killed my ankles more than my feet.. but it sucks either way

I hate roofing too. Especially in the summer out in the 100 plus degrees.

I spent a day pulling cedar shake off an apartment building in 105 degree weather, I can totally relate to that one. At least I was smart enough to get the edge done before I started getting delirious from the heat. Three stories to the concrete, being fired would have been the last thing I cared about. I volunteered though, so I guess I couldn't have gotten fired anyway. 8)
