All kidding aside, (the jokes were just too many and too easy)...Not for me. If you need to be on your knees or on your back, ( you all know what I mean) you need shorts or pants. I don't think they would be very useful for me. Heck, I wear overalls over shorts or pants in my work.

sweet.........being a scotsman (2nd gen american) i must congradulate you on that score. i don't think you'll get away with that on base though.......

you don't happen to know a company that acualy makes there own fabric do you? i have a small swath of my family plaid and can't find a match for my family reunion kilt to be made.

At the squadron I am in, we have a retired USMC E-8 and he sometimes wears his kilt in. Usually just before the Highland Games (he usually is one of the coordinators for his clan) and he gets a look or two, but most folks just take it in stride.
