I'm at my daughters jr. high graduation yesterday and my sister says " see that guy right there? He is/ was in the band Dramarama. You know from the 80's 90's . Anything anything? He lives a mile away in my mom's old neighborhood.
Turns out His wife grew up in my neighborhood Is a year behind me. Her sister's husband, Mark, did some drywall work in my house! Mark never mentioned that his brother in law was in a famous band! Small world huh?
I live in a normal 45 year old middle class area. The band went out in the early 90's but my sis said they were working on a come back. I don't even know his name.

that's kinda cool... you never know who you know and how they might connect to someone famous.. my sis-in-law was married to a guy who tutored Chuck Cecil in college. Chuck played few years for the Packers. So it is a small world sometimes...

My aunt dated the drummer from Quarterflash back in the day, another of those bands that went out in the 80s. If you look hard enough you can usually find someone you know who is connected to someone famous. Seems like I took a writing class in college with a guy who ended up playing in the NFL for a while.

Quarterflash..dang that goes back a ways.. saw them as a local band in Puyallup, WA...
