ok so today it was like 80* and sunny today....fast forward to right now. 2:00 am and cold and dark....i just got done putting my stereo into my truck i just got.....wanna know why i didnt do this during this beautiful sunny day?

b/c i was layin under a goddamn dirty nasty ass fucking semi truck!!!!!!
i mentioned right after i came home that i would work for this guy servicing his trucks...$10hr cash no taxes....BUT!!! i told him i wasnt wanting to do anything till at least the first part of april...the fucker calls me 3 days later hounding me that he needs some trucks serviced. so outta the fuckin goodness of my heart i work a few days for him...
the fucker wont leave me alone now....

so i decide this morning i aint going to work today..fuck it..its going to be a nice day. ill call off, wash my truck, put the stereo in, clean out the inside, maybe work on the bike and take it out, maybe even do a little yardwork.....THE S.O.B CALLS ME AT 8AM!!!!!!!!! ....sayin he has to have the truck im workin on runnin today...i say.."look i got some stuff to do today"...he replies "well maybe ill have to find someone more dependable" ....WTF!!!!!!!!!! how the fuck could you get fired from a job before you even really started it.

dont get me wrong, i dont mind the work. the money is alright. but i DONT NEED IT right now. i got plenty saved up and wanna get some of the shit done around the house that i put off for a year.

so i went to fuckin work and wasted the best fuckin day since i been home from Iraq fucking around w/ his broke ass fucked up shit.

this is bullshit

Call me whatever, but work when you can. You never know when its goin to not be there until you are wonderin how you are goin to pay your bills with no money. Thank god its not happened to me, but my parents have been through it alot over the last few years.

i wish i could even think of not showing up for work sometimes.

First of all, sorry I haven't been around guys..but I sold my sold my old 80 luv and just got another 79 a few weeks ago. (Damn it's good to have a luv to tinker on again!)

Second of all, larp...glad to see you back home in one chunk.

Third of all...my damn PC repair/sales business keeps me so damn busy..I can definitely relate to what you are saying larp. I told all my customers that I was taking 2 weeks off for the first time in a long while to fix up my truck (and my daughter's 74) and be damned if they haven't been coming to my house(where my shop is and where I run my business) damn near every day of the week bugging me to death. I actually had to take my truck to a buddy's house to get somethings done just to get it drivable. I try to not be rude..but sometimes when I'm busy as hell trying to fabricate something or sort out a mess...it really pisses me off when someone knocks on my garage door and won't go away. but it's drivable..I just gotta do a little more tlc and get it painted..I almost feel like taking another week off..but I gotta pay bills...cya
