Some fag kept reving up on me, I was just driving regular cause I didn't want another speed contest ticket. Well he kept reving on me sayin come on get it. so after 3 lights I got pissed and freakin took his ass he was in a vg6 firebird or whatever some special edition. Then my friend said COP COP COP I was like oh shit. I didn't think he was gonna get us cause we went 2 more lights then the guy next to me got all sideways and over revved and broke something I hear bruuuuuaaaaaaaaa raaaa raaa CRACK brum brum all raspy. Then 2 cars back I see the red& blues come on. Pulled us over didn't even say anything except give me your license and registration. Then he talked to the other guy, he did a ass load of paperwork then asked if my car was a automatic or stick so I told him 4 speed and I was like oh shit its gone. I already have 1 speed contest ticket well now I have two how lucky for me. Now it's impounded for a mandatory 30 days plus PD fee, court fees, tow bill, Release, and daily impound fee. Heard it was about 80 a day for impound daily fees. So im pretty screwed. I will probably get my license pulled and may go to jail for a couple days plus be in debt up to my asshole. Im not very happy and feel like I should just die. Anyway have a nice day :D

CA VC 23109a - speed contest. Yikes! my friend just got his 2nd offense too. he has a 10 sec vette and he got busted over something stupid... racing a stock LT1 Camaro.

his first offence was a bad one. The SDPD went about 80 miles out of their jurisdiction to do a sting operation on him in Riverside County. His car got impounded.

Second offense (about a month ago) the cop yelled a lot about the fact that he was on probation for speed contest already but he was cool enough to not impound the car or haul the both of us down. He hired an attorney that specializes in traffic infractions and misdemeanors and so it will be interesting how this whole thing plays out. I have a lot of confidence in this attorney because he has save my ass several times on speeding tickets.

It might be worth it for you to beg or borrow a few hunsky to hire a lawyer.

The impound fee to get your car out is going to be $$$$ hope it all works out for you man.

Well I found out it will only be $20 a day for 30 days so when all is said and done I think it should be about 800 all together to get it out.

Next time, if you think your gonna get pulled over for that, split up from the guy you raced. At least you get a 50/50 chance of getting off. He can't follow both of you.

Usually they go after the guy that tries to get away. I've gotten out one by pulling over as soon as I saw the cop.

The just got to pull up beside U and rev there motor. No offense to any one that own's a import, but when you guy's have a stock motor and a few bolt on's yall think you can out run every one. AND yes I have seen some import's that really hall ass.

Doesn't matter what you drive, keep it at the track. The coppers are bustin everyone who accelerates from a stop light at a speed greater than the normal flow of traffic. The fines here are getting terrible. The track is the only place I throw down anymore. And believe me, everyone wants to try and race me in my truck.

I agree that the track is the only place to race. but the my ego usually get's the best of me and when that light turn green. All the other guy's see and hear's is the roar of my motor and the red of my tail light's. I know it is going to catch up to me one of these day's.

Dude thats fawked up! Your insurance is gonna love you :(

I'm guilty of giving in to someone egging you on and got busted for doing a burnout a few years ago. I had not even let off the throttle when I saw the rotating lights  COLD busted.

Not sure if everyone knows this but "exhibition of speed" and "speed contest" are considered major violations....are good for 2 points on your record...AND stay on your record for 7 years. Just don't do it.
