well i stopperd by the shop the other day to check in on my Luv, and what do I find? I found that some a hole stole the pair of 8" round KC Highlights that I had mounted to my brush guard, they just snipped the wires and unbolted the light assembley, needless to say I was very pissed, if I ever find out who did this i'm gonna give them an ass whoppin they'll never forget, frign' bumb ass

Find a small padlock or two with a long enough shank, drill a hole for it in the bolts, and lock the next set you get on there. I've also seen people do about the same with some kind of a pin and a welder. You drill a hole through the bolt, stick the pin through and bend over the loose end. Tack weld the end either to the end of the bolt (avoiding the threads) or to a spot near the bolt on the bumper or guard. There was a good discussion about this sort of thing over at 4x4wire not long ago talking about winch security. Nothing will stop a determined thief with enough time, but usually if you make it even a little hard 95% of them will move on to the next target.

I vote for rectangular DC (Dick Cepek) C1000's (1 million candle power each) or round Hella's .

DC or one of the light manufacturers used to make a locking nut that required a key to get the nut off. not sure if anything like that still exists... this was way back in the day (late 80's)

yeah i was thinking hella's too, i tthought i put them on the poll but i guess they didn't make there. yeah i don't really know what to do with the next set, i might just tack weld the nuts on or something to deter any one from ripping them off.

yeah you're definitely going to have to find some security measure if you put Hellas on or they will probably get stolen twice as fast as the KC's
