we had a guy with a 66 vette leave the line at Silver dollar raceway wheels up but not real high. about a 100 feet out when the wheels started to come down he hit the second kit and the wrer up even higher than before. had to burp the throttle to get them back down. the wheels finally touched the track about 250 feet out. He hit it again and they were back up again. the 1/8th mile timers were tripped with the back tires. burped it once more and still went a 9.43 in the Qtr mile. That was a cool pass to see. His name was Raymond Wilder from Macon ... I think some of the macon crowd may know him that come on here.
