man how unlucky can a guy get i have had two wrecks with the luv within two weeks jus hit the side of a 4runner 1,000 dollars worth of damage
to his vehicle probably

and the last wreck i messed up my friends back he was in back of the truck and hit front of bed when i smacked up into bank
offroading and my insurance just went down to 70 bucks on full coverage and i am 21

so you can say skyrocket if i turn it over to insurance

i just seem to keep getting more problems

I feel your pain! I rear-ended a Highlander the Tuesday before Thanksgiving in my 79 longbed! Right now my full coverage is $60 a month on my Maxima and I'm 22! I've royally screwed up my low rates as well! Just hang in there man, things will get better! With some help from Lil Blue, I'm hoping I can have my LUV rebuilt by next summer! How bad is the damage to your truck? Maybe you can salvage it rather than junk it! It's a lot of work, but I just can't part with my first LUV! Especially since my church pastor gave it to me and he had it since 1985!!! I can't let Lazerus go to the crusher!!! I suggest if you think the truck if fixable you do the same and rebuild it! There's no replacement for your first LUV!! My co-workers tried to convince me to dump my truck and go buy an S-10 or even worse, a ranger! There aren't that many LUV trucks in my area and I want to help preserve the species!! I hope you can do the same!

Just get my truck back from the shop after them having it for seven months....and I have to have it towed cause it still doesnt run.....I tear the whole truck apart and back together in 3 days and have it running...after putting alternator belt back on and tighten belt....and break the little line that is on the back of vacuum pump.......and cant find the damn line anywhere so my truck is down again.

Jeez fellers......this thread is a real tear-jerker

jeez u all can get full coverage from ur insurance companys all i can get is liability... unless i go through classi car.. but then im not old enough for that.

its kinda funny i got full coverage on my luv cause its not worth a whole lot but its nice to have now phew!!! yeah i might need a left and right front fender i ll see if i can fix the dent

and my dad jus sold his business so no more welding or tooling but i am goin back to work for another trailer manufacturer company with my dad so its good i might be allowed after work hours to work on the luv

oh yes it is my first luv so i m holdin on to it we been through a lot i cant part with it

now i know holy and slick and all others what its like

man its been through a rollover and have hit signs and shoppin carts on purpose and hit side of embankment and then hit that 4 runner its
a strong lil truck takes a beating still dont look to bad once i fix the fenders jus a little dented

Well JK when you get yours fixed im not far from you we will have to take them on a welcome back 4x4 run
