Seriously though I think when it comes up again in 2 years, I will make a serious bid for it. Not telling anyone and writing yourself in doesn't seem to be working.
We have a history of only the incumbent running, or if they get out, just one to replace him. So I'm thinking I have as good a shot as anybody.
Wonder how he would take it if I beat him... He was the former Chief of Police and lives down the street...
