I heard on the news this morning that every day 15 people die and 1500 people are injured in car accidents. Every day. And these only account for people between the ages of 16-20. It was a story about young people going too fast, drinking or just not having the expeirience to know what to do in a bad situation. The focus was on a guy that was doing 80 in a 50 zone and brushed one of the tires on the curb. His dad thinks if he wouldve just staightened the wheel he wouldve been fine, but he over corrected and put the drivers door into a tree. He died on impact. I was on a run for work Tuesday night in a Lexus IS300 in the middle of no where and opened it up to 100mph. Makes me reflect on that as a stupid thing to do. And Im 32. Guess I still havent grown up yet. I also have 3 kids and some things I hear on the news just make me nervous because in another 10-15 years theyre going to be driving like I do. Yikes.

safety is a big concern.
more people die riding motorcycles or driving than skydiving. :P

mmm. i hate to say it but i have to agree, and im 18, i will admit i do drive a little fast, im not the best driver in the world, but it's risk we all take every day, walking out of our front doors.

P.S. when i mean fast i mean 90+ in either a Ford Explorer, Chevy K1500 or a Isuzu Trooper, all of them 4x4, thats fast!!

Hey , I jumped out of an airplane once....well mabey a car....ok....I got pushed off of my bicycle  . I will admit though, reckless drivers endanger the lives of everyone on and off the road/sidewalk. I think that if we were all to think about what we do before we do it, the world would be a whole lot better, but hell, were all human.

I rode 170 mph on a friends motorcycle b4 on the highway (if you got the need for speed , have some one check the road ahead of you for any one comeing or going) but man it was fun I wish some one would have gotten it on tape. :) any one elce like speed, I must admit i'm a speed addict.

Also : whats the fastest speed any one has driven/riden ?

I am a speed addict as well. The other day though, the cops raided my house and took it all. Anyone else got any speed I could borrow? 8O

I saw a video on the net once of a rider holding a camera over the shoulder of a guy on a crotch rocket... in traffic... on the interstate...

0mph to about 205mph. Weaving in and out of traffic.

It was cool. :)

I raced my '75 Camaro against a guy in a Dodge Daytona Turbo Z, back around '89-'90. My speedo went to 130. His went to 150. His speedo was pegged, mine pegged, then broke. So we were goin over 150, easily. We were on I-55 comin out of Memphis, late one night. We went about 3-4 miles in & out of cars, before we met a cop heading north. We both hit the next exit, & split up.
