Ok You guys might not wanna hear it but im going to post it anyway. Me and my g/f have been living with her mom (im only 18 by the way) until we can get solid jobs to get a place of our own. WELL... She is kicking us out because she says we run up to many bills and she said if we don't pay her 400 a month for this tiny ass bedroom we have to get out. We can get a house for that. BUT.. for now we have no where to go and this town SUCKS for employment. Oh well hopefully I will figure out something. I might have to sell my LUV or my accord.

I read your story and felt compelled to make a reply.
I understand you are young and perhaps haven't been exposed to many ideas of things you can do to make a living ( I am assuming you WANT to work). I would just like to give you a few ideas to think on of things you could do AND, NOT sell the truck.....
A man w a truck (if he uses his head and doesn't mind working) should NEVER be broke. there are too many things you can do w that truck to make money.
1. Haul scrap metal (price of scrap is up pretty good right now)Place an ad in the nickel or paper that you'll haul it away free, and you'll be in business.

2. Grab a lawnmower and go mow lawns(In cali that is almost a yr round thing) and I have a friend there that makes $30,000 a year doing that.

3. Yard clean-up and hauling service(again the truck and the newspaper would be your best friends)

4. Maybe even a "Personal errand service" I had a friend in Colorado that did this out of a car for little stuff and paid me for doing big jobs, and he did quite well also.

Just a few pointers for you, but the bottom line is.....
I would NOT sell the truck!! There's just too many things you could do w it. I wish you all the luck in whatever happens. 8)

If it comes down to selling vehicles, unload that Honda first!
I know where Oroville is. I'ts just far enough away from Sacramento to be a nice place to live and just a little too far to make the commute. :(
Anyway good luck to you, you'll find something.

It only gets worse from here. This sounds harsh, but you need to find any job you can. Even if that means working 2 jobs to support you and your girlfriend. Good luck and remember, you could live in a foreign country getting shot at for a living.
