i got myself a new car. not a LUV, its a Nissan 240 SX. in pretty good condition, runs awsome. i wanted to know if anyone knew what motors swapped into them easily, or where i could get info on them.

people at the 240 forums are asses and i hope all their cars randomly explode...

so the people at the 240 site are prolly asses cuz they feel as though their car isnt their car anymore. in the mainstream world of imports from my viewing i believe the 240 has become a popular car right now. im sure some feel as though their whole underworld of 240s has been invaded. they already have fealt the invasion from movies like the fast and the furious from exposing the underground street world. which is no surprise to the crack down in law enforcement because of shit head kids being reckless now. in some ways i can understand how they feel. some of them get wrapped up in their ego of we were around first and now all these newbies want to do what they saw some picture of in the latest car mag. but they should just take the time to help the new guys cuz obviously they have the knowledge to lend. now im sure they get their run of the mill questions like whats the most popular swap?...etc etc. its just like all you guys who've been with luvs for awhile hear the same question bout swaps time and time again. which i am guilty of asking  but if you stick around the site for awhile and try to search through past archives or faqs for your answers. soon enough they will see you're around for the long haul and accept you.
but the lowdown on the 240s is that they are beautiful cars. atleast the japan ones are(which are called silvias) theyre great cars for drifting. ive seen many silvia conversions and can be done tastefully. the popular engine swap with them is the sr20det. t=turbo=badass! ive read someone mention something in the past about them. so they might be more of a help.
