Yeah I have had Direct TV for five years and I love it. I have had nothing but the best customer service from them as well, I recently had a problem with our converter and the sent a Tech out to help us free of charge!!
Well anyway I had cable at one time in Washington but I got a bill stating that they would be raising my monthly fees to almost 60$
Well I called them and told them that they could come and pick up there stuff that I no longer needed their service and they asked why I was dropping them as a cable service provider, and I told them ........ I can get twice the channels at half the price from my old provider Direct TV and if they thought that they could beat that price and offer the same service I would consider staying with them and their salesman said that noone offers deals like that and that they couldnt possibly offer as good a signal as their "digital" cable I just laughed and told them that they could pick up their stuff between noon and five in the evening!!!!!
Thats when I would be around........ maybe!
Hey Mepr there is one other thing you oughta know you know how we have our windstorms? Well from time to time they will mess with the reception too. So dont worry, and yeah you gotta keep the snow wiped off the dish !

so we get it installed yesterday, and it starts snowing this morning, tv starts tweeking out. S i turn it off and get some food and pick up the aftermath of D&D in my basement. Go to trun tv on, sitts there saying acuiring signal for a half hour
