How are our Houston and east coast Texas members doing with the floods?

I'm ok .....so far . 80% chance today again . Just enough time between heavy rains to drain the water off . Ground is soaked and I have standing water in my yard . Guy about 3 houses down got water in his back porch. Guy 4 doors down got water in the garage . I'm highest on the block and just hauled in 6 yards of stabilized lime base rock for a trailer pad for the enclosed . Glad I did . Right now sunny and 82 not a cloud . last night rain until midnight . It just starts , you here random thunder then s slight sprinkle warning , then steady down pour .

Im 4 miles from the gulf and there are several rivers that come down through this area . The trinity river area is bad off . I heard an entire family was lost off the comel or Gaudalupe river when the house was swept away . A lot of damade . One day was like 2500 cars towed in Houston . People get to the water and stop and traffic pile up behind them and they have no where to go . By the time traffic behind then turns around and goes backward on the freeway the water has risen over their car .
