I haven't been on here for quite a while as I have had a lot going on in my life!! A year ago the end of December I quit my job as of almost 16 years and got another job that was 30 miles farther. Worked there for just over 8 months, because after work my day job then coming home and doing side work for 5 months, I quit my day job and started my own shop!! It is the best thing I have ever done and haven't been this happy in years. I have been very busy working on tractors, combines, vehicles and anything else I can get in the shop. Haven't race the Luv since 2011 when the engine blew up so it has been sitting on jack stands in the garage. Hope maybe next year to get it back out on the track. In the meantime I have been enjoying helping the daughter with the jr drag racing!!! I will try to be on here more often now but it seems like every couple days I get a phone call and pick up another customer after they hear about my business. The best part (and it makes me VERY HAPPY!!) is that some of my customers are customers I have taken from the first job I quit!!!!

Great to hear! When you like what you do for a living, it's almost not "work".

Thanks guys!! I love having my own shop, it is something I have wanted to do for a long time. I have a 468 BBC short block I bought from a friend who had it in his Super Gas car. The heads are ready to go just need to get the rest of the engine freshened up and get the tranny repaired!! I will try to visit more often!!!!
