The s10 rear is barely wider than stock. It's 5 lug though.

Is it much stronger ? And I can get one but it has welded spiders in it.do to think its worth swapping with the welded gears?

Street driven, I would pass on the welded spiders. Also, make sure the s10 donor is a two wheel drive as the 4x4's are wider...

Okay spotted a 350 and pickin it up this weekend. It also has a 700 r4 attached.i need a way to get it into the back of my truck, and suggestions. No cherry picker or front end loader. Redneck is fine as long as it works lol.

if redneck is fine pick up a case of beer and recruit a few buddies :lol:
the 700r4 should be easy enough to get in on its own, a small block is what 550lbs? something like that i would want to get it up off the ground maybe set on a spare wheel/tire behind the tailgate and then lift the rest of the way into the bed.
maybe try to track down a used picker from craigslist i got my engine stand for $25

Yea I thought about that I can get tranny easy but engine.... Lol I thought get it on a pallet and I have ramps and ratchet it into the back lol.

Most equipment rental places have them. United Rentals has them. I don't know where in Oklahoma you are, so I can't really help. You're gonna need one to set the motor in the truck for sure. Just google equipment rentals and your city and state.

Okay pretty close on the engine rebuild. I guess this is the time to be proud of what I do for a living lol (machinist). But I got it bored .040 got forged pistons I think stock crank. Chevy 350 crate motor heads that I ported and gasket matched myself, I have a couple of intakes and don't know which to use. I have a edlebrock torker or a crate bowtie intake. I want to run on the street and put the nitrous to it. Maby a 200 shot. Which intake u guys think? Sorry for the novel.
