ithink grandpa summed it all up like this...

you pull a chevy with another chevy... you end up pushing fords, and well dodges never break down they just stop running

and the only time his 86 toyota hardbody was ever pushed or pulled was when he sank it in the field to the hubs and when a deer jumped through the windshield and half way though the rear (315,000) regular maintance and starter (2 clutch and a flywheel) and they say that imports are unreliable... damn 22r/22re will damn near run forever

Huh , never owned a toyota , Never really cared for any of the body styles except the new full size trucks and the old supras . Have you ever owned a 7.3 powerstroke ?

Cam ended up being tight so its coming back apart . Think 1 and 4 cam bearings are in crooked .

Pretty common...

Back in the day, we used to actually go get a cam to trial fit before it left the shop. But not everyone does.
