Some asshat used my credit card number and the email address ben19@aol.com to sign me up for a monthly porn subscription. Since I use this card at very few places, it's likely someone I know.

Anyway, if you guys are bored, I've been spending my spare time signing up ben19@aol.com for email spam at job searches, horoscopes, you name it.

Also, if anyone has any ideas about how to find out the identity of this guy, I'm interested. We've already tried asking aol.com and they aren't interested in helping. I also tried to reset the password on his account but they won't do that either because I couldn't answer the "secret question".

So now I get to send a letter to the CC company to get them to reverse the $90 in charges. Fun, fun, fun.

That sucks. I have no idea how to figure this all out but I hope someone out here can help.

I don't know. It was showing up on my CC as "RRSupport". I didn't ask. My wife is already giving me the evil eye, suggesting that I may have actually bought it and just won't admit it. However, I really didn't.

I would imagine it's pretty good for $30/month.

your cc company can get the info. if they dont tell them fine cancel my card then see how fast they act.

About a year ago I got a charge on my card for tickets on Condor Fuglendeist ( may not be right on the spelling) for $996. Called the airline and got some Jamaican people - person who answered and the manager I asked to speak to. Contacted my bank that issued the card and got my money back in about 72 hours.

Most likely the offending person bought tickets and then intended to return them for a portion of the purchase price.

RRSupport is a billing company that deals in gay porn anyway. A quick search of their site reveals this.

This is a card you use very infrequently? How infrequently? Online purchases only? Restaurants? If you used it anywhere, and it left your site for more than a second, then it's likely someone copied the number and set up a quick throwaway email address at aol. Most places don't even require your billing zip code to authorize a transaction.

Too bad he didn't use it to get some furniture delivered to his house or get DirecTV installed at his home. He'd be easy to find then.

It's a business card so it gets used very few places. I think I know who it was. I almost got someone fired at an electrical supplier we use because he was overcharging us thinking that we wouldn't notice. I have a feeling that he decided to retaliate.
