Let me tell you what happened to me. April 13, I was trimming a tree in the front yard, standing on an extension ladder tied to the tree. Cut one branch off, watched it fall and when it stopped moving, I looked up for the nest one. All I remember is starting to fall! Woke up in the back of a life flight helicopter on the way to a trauma center in New Orleans. Seems the aluminum ladder actually broke in two and I fell 25 feet! I broke three ribs and crushed four vertebrae. Spent one week in the hospital and I am now home, wearing a back brace, using a walker, and either laying down or sitting upright and NOTHING else. I am very lucky not to be paralized! Not being able to do anything is the roughest part of recovering. I've been watching the site and dreaming of working on my LUV which is bad, because I keep thinking of things to do which my wife would shoot me over. Well I will say my LUV looks great in my dreams! Still have another five months of recovery before I can hope to go back to work and get back in my garage. Oh well, the Young and the Restless is on, time to go!

Holy shit dude! You are very lucky. I know this thread is a couple weeks old by now. I hope you are doing ok. Hang in there man and try to stay occupied, and hopefully the time flys by for you and you get up and running soon. Take care!

I am getting better, but it's slow. Right now I'm living the dogs life; eat, sleep, and poop. Oh, it's time for my belly rub!

Well at least you're in good spirits. You might as well try to enjoy the time off, even if it took getting hurt to get it. Just remember not to poop at the same time as eating or sleeping. Whatever you do, just remember to wash your hands... :D
