I lost a good friend and trucking mentor to diabetes last week. He was only 54 or 55. One hell of a cool guy. "We'll miss you Mike. Save me a seat up there at the great breakfast cafe in the sky."

In the last pic, he was letting my son, (I think about 12 or 13 at the time) drive the '57 Peterbilt, while he rode on the step outside! It was just idling around an oval track on a high school field. I was nervous that my kid would do something stupid. Mike always could read which kids can, and which kids don't get it. lol
