I just bought a clean 81 CM400C with 7k miles on it. with the fact that i only drive about 3 miles to work one way, i will save myself 900 bucks in gas over the next 30 weeks with the average mileage i have calculated for a small truck. but then again, i like having a way to haul stuff around...

Oh wow, I wish I could afford a Roadstar, 8O.

And I just looked up ur bike fig, it looks just like my old 80 cx500c!! Just mine had a v-twin that shook me around :lol:. What kinda mileage do u get? Only get about 45 mpg outta my Ninja... :( I like the look of the custom's tank way better, :wink:. Jw, how much did u pick it up for? I'm looking for a street legal dirt bike right now, but who knows, might look at those also..... :twisted: I prolly need to sell a couple bikes first tho... lol

depends on how i ride. if im more aggressive, i get about 45 mpg. if i'm lighter, i have pulled as much as 53mpg. still, not bad considering! :lol:

Haha, ya, hopefully we'll save a bundle this summer by riding alot, :ebiggrin. But hmm... I wonder if I could get better mileage out of it if I cooled down a bit? Haha, I tend to ride a little agressively.... :econfused lol.
