I just recieved a call from a contract house to go to work in Wichita KS. I've been there before and it pays pretty good. I should find out in about a week to see if im in. If this works out, after i straighten out my imediate debt, i should be able to do some more modifications to my truck. It gets cold enough in kansas to forget about working on the truck but i can do some basic stuff like find a steering box to rebuild and line up some new parts. It's a 6 month contract but the last time i was there, i was told it was a 4 month job and i ended up staying there for almost 2 years. Wish me luck!

I can see it now, Blue - snow on the ground, debts paid and a greasy steering box spread out on the kitchen table! Good luck and happy moving.

I had the same vision except the steering box is sitting in the stainless steel sink (thats what the apts have that i want to move back into).

It's official! I will be going to Wichita Kansas. I got confirmation this morning. I start on the 2nd of Sept. It's a very unfullfilling job working mod line on the Challenger 300 at Learjet. But it will pay the bills. If im back at work, that means that the economy is getting better. I will be shutting down the computer later today or tomorrow so if anyone needs motor mount or wiring info, hang on for about a week or two till i get moved and cable setup. Later...

Im hooked up to the internet again. I completed the Sheetmetal plate test yesterday and i passed(barely!). I was so out of practice that i screwed up alot of stuff on the test. I must have squeaked by. Now i know that i wont be sent home unless i seriously damage an aircraft. To those who have asked for conversion info, i'll send out the stuff to those as soon as i can.
