Had my back surgery about 3 weeks ago and feel good as new now!! No more pain but off of work now for 3 months. Really sucks not being able to do anything until the fusion heals.

I think you are right. I have been spending the time with my 8 year old daughter. Have been enjoying that and it has been keeping me busy!! Thanks.

Thanks guys!! It even sucks that I can't drive either until released by the dr. But tht gives me a chance to do alot of walking, which I am suppose to be doing anyways.

One day your changing diapers, the next day your seeing her off to college. Mine went to Germany for a semester on a scholarship.

Thanks. You are very right, they do grow up fast. When my daughter was 6 months olds, we stopped to visit my grandpa and grandma who were at a senior dance. A lady there ask us how old our daughter was and we said 6 months. For the next 8 years my grandma always told that story and said that day seemed like it was yesterday. When they are little you want them to stay little. But as they get older, that stage of life is fun too.

ethelkilledfred is right. Enjoy every minute while they are young. It seems mine was just born and now she is 21! I miss that little girl sometimes, but now I'm enjoying a new relationship with my adult daughter. Glad the back surgery went well. :smt023
