Old Bridge Township Raceway Park claims another victim. NHRA Top Alcohol Funny Car Vet Neal Parker passed away earlier today in a freak accident getting into this weekend race at Englishtown. My thoughts and prayers goes out to the Parker family and to his crew and the rest of the NHRA family. we lost a good racer today. and this weekend is the 2nd anniversary of Scott Kalitta death, so with the passing of Neal it makes this weekend even somber. RIP Neal.

There is something inherently wrong with that track. The shutdown area is just too short for cars that have chute or braking problems.

Slamming into double catch nets and sand is not the answer.

I couldn't agree with you more. 2 drivers killed in 2 years and last year 2 alky funny cars go off the track in 2 runs back to back.
