Just wanted to give you guys an update on what's been going on.

Bad news first?

I'm having lots of trouble getting DSL at my new residence. I'm currently on my dad's 56k modem which is hella slow. This is why I haven't been around the boards lately. DSLExtreme is predicting that my DSL will be working by the end of the week or beggining of next week.

Good news...

I've moved into my dad's house temporarily until I can regroup. So far it hasn't been too bad.

I got a full time job at a soda bottling plant as an electrician. The pay is descent, atmosphere is cool, and co-workers are the best I've worked with anywhere. The hours suck, and the drive to/from sucks. I've been working 10hrs/day, 6 days a week ever since I started. The money will be nice but so far I've been too wiped out to do anything but go to work every day. I'm still looking for another IT job since that's where my heart is. IT work generally isn't so ball-busting, more brain-busting, which I prefer. This is another reason why I haven't been around much.

Seems like I either have time and no money, or money and no time. LOL!

I can help u with that B... simple give me all ur money so u can have no time and no money! sounds fair to me

Glad to hear things are looking up........this day and time any job that gives you a check is a good one..........As for the hours they will help you stay out of trouble..no time for chasin LEG!!!!I hope things keep goin your way and THANKS for workin so hard to keep this site up and running.

Ben, i gotta say that we as a group appreceate your efforts in keeping things going smooth with the site while your juggling kittens during your move and the new job. I myself have been searching for a job and so i can relate to some degree. Thank you Ben.
