if you were dating someone and you knew your parents wouldnt approve of them becausee of their age would you break it off?

I had a similar dilemma. My girlfriend was 7years older than me (I was 21). My parent didn't like it (her parents didn't either). Did I break it off? No, we've been married for 7 years now and have a great kid.

IMHO, you should do what makes you happy...

I would say, that if my daughter wanted to date someone older than me....YEA..i would have a problem with that!! Im not sure but if ya tinker with a miner in most states of this country...ya go to what is refered to as the drink...the big house...etc....Now on the otherhand if he is younger than thou....when you turn 18, then your the one thats tinkering with a miner....good luck! BUT..by seeing your avitar... well lets just say im going to leave that discussion open!!! Dazzed..and..Confused?#>**??

7 years is not too bad but my cousin is in her mid20's and is dating a guy in his mid 40's... thats a bit too much.

no my parents are fine with it lol its his parents hes 20 for fucking sakes and cant say to his parents this is who im with deal with it
and im 15 hes 20 my parents dont care i have concent which means they wont press charges and no one else can

You see, if he ever pisses you off, you could use that against him and put him away... the saying is 15 will get you 10 or something like that.

Yes, I would break it off for several reasons.

well for a while i was dating a 15year old girl and im 18. I was just vary carefull about it and met her parents and everything. Nobody had a problem whith it, mostly becouse im a vary responsible person by reputation.
I f you realy feel for him try to make things work. Just try so you know nothing more can be done, i know how it feels to regret not trying hard enough, and that feeling sucks hard.

well all it takes is for someone to see you two together.they could call the cops or cps child protective services because your a minor and have him tossed in the slammer. it doesn`t matter if your parrents approve or not. he could go to jail that is a risk that you guys have to deal with.

that is not true in this state with parent aproval it the only way anyone can do somthing about it is if my parents decide to press charges

Babyluv... you are just a baby... you have your whole life ahead of you... you are too young to be tied down right now anyway. Have fun, enjoy life, dont get too serious about anybody or anything until you are done having fun. you are 15 years old, you should be dating other 15 year olds and doing stuff that 15 year olds do. Don't be in a hurry to grow up either. its a tough world out there.

iv never really gotten along with people my age all of my friends are older than me the last 15 year old guy i knew still played with his legos everynight and his mommy layed out his clothes and washed his hair sometimes

man im almost 18 i still like watching cartoons, mess around with my friends, fuck tell me something i dont do now that i used to do 3years ago?.................... hey im still me!! cass i think u trying to be big a lil too fast. u should have fun as much as u can just dont get in trouble right now me i think girls arent a big thing for me now if something pops out in my way then cool if not cool too!

i still play with legos too when my wife and kids arent looking. hahah. I would say that in some ways I am more immature than I was when i was 15. I still thumb my nose a authority, street race. ride dirt bikes and sport bikes, listen to thumpin music, shoot pellet guns in the back yard, drink lots of beer, stuff like that.
when i was a kid I couldnt wait to grow up. now that I am grown up, i wish i was a kid.
