Located in Albany Oregon. I thought that the 4x4 was done after it was bought but did not know. The truck was lifted to add the 4x4.

There were custom ones done and sold by dealers like step sides. It will have a solid axle. I have seen one before.

Grandmaster of the "Shade Tree" way.. I can't see the yard for all the cars. Come on down and we will sit on the porch and watch the grass grow.

my buddy had a 75 that had been converted by a conversion company (don't remember the name) They used the front axle from the early 80's toyotas so it would match the rear 6 lug. I would ask him the name, but it got stolen about 6-7 years ago :x
I have also seen a few with some with jeep axles, but those were home-brewed 8O
