Just watched the news and saw/heard something that caught my attention. There have been three fatal shootings in New Orleans over the last 15 hours. First, that does bother me especially since they were between 15 and 19 years of age! But what really caught my attention was the announcers stated, "that is an unusual amount for such a small time period. Normally we see three shootings every 36 hours." Dude, do they determine a 'normal' day based on the amount of murders per hour? This scares the crap out of me.

The other day in Cedar Rapids, Iowa a 70 yr old guy killed his 67 yr old wife just because she backed her car into the garage door. We have also had a fair share of shootings and killings here in Iowa lately.
