I don't know why, but you all seem to have all the cars and stuff there. I know it is that with a lot of VW stuff, seems like Luv Trucks too. Most things on the right coast are too rusty. j/k

It must be conspiracy and I think congress should investigate it.

Grandmaster of the "Shade Tree" way.. I can't see the yard for all the cars. Come on down and we will sit on the porch and watch the grass grow.

PapaG be careful saying things like that or else they will spend a couple billion dollars doing just that....investigating which ocean causes more rust.

but it does help you right coast guys out when we find them to part out... i try to spread the parts out evenly.... ha ha...
they sold so many here to the farmers and such... and they where cheap, my friend in high school went and bought one new from the dealer when he turned 18...they are getting harder to find, at least in the yards but there are still allot around here....

Probably after they came off the boat from Japan it would cost half the sticker price to ship it to the East Coast. I'm sure there's direct shipping to Seattle, Oregon coast, San Francisco, and Los Angeles so that's why there are so many LUVs near those places. The crush rate is a lot higher in LA, so I think that's why we don't have as many. Whereas in Oregon and Washington, they get used on farms and etc and like Cat says they then sit in peoples yards rather than being sold for scrap. I got my LUV from Washington State, I almost bought a local eBay special but he didn't have plates on it so I was worried about title issues, plus it was an '80 which is smog here in CA.
