Wow, I didnt even realize he was still involved in racing, but I havent followed drag racing for quite a while now (once the computers took over in the cars, I lost interest). Him and Tom McEwen were my 2 favorite drives when I was a kid, loved the Snake vs Mongoose duels! Here is a pic I took of Don at the Mile High Nats back in the late 80's.

My favorite in the eighties was Old Milwaukee Mark Oswald. Ive always been a nascar fan but they are losing my interest nowadays too. Trained dogs no originals allowed. When the underdog has absolutely no chance to win its not a sport.

Used to love drag racing, not any more, not the same as what I grew up with-Snake,Mongoose, Big Daddy Don Garlits and Shirley "Cha Cha" Muldowney-Those were the days!
