Patrick Swayze, the hunky actor who danced his way into viewers' hearts with "Dirty Dancing" and then broke them with "Ghost," died Monday after a battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 57

I knew he was battling cancer but I thought he had beaten it. It has not been a good past few months for celebrities. Michael Jackson, Farrah Fawcett and now Swayze. To bad.

I literally just got off the phone with my mother in S.C. After battling cancer my Uncle passed away today at 83. Another WWII vet has left us.

Thanks guys. We never know, this all started when he went to the Hospital thinking he had gall bladder issues. Found out his liver was almost completely shot. He wasn't a heavy drinker or anything. Once it spread there was no slowing down.

About a month ago my wife's sisters husband passed away in his sleep. He was only 59 years old. One week later I had to go to another funeral. That guy was the service manager where I work at until he retired a year ago last May and he was my automotive shop teacher back in high school. He had cancer for the last few years. We doing good until the last couple month it came back and spread fast.
