Saturday wasn't so great. 1st round I ran the number with an 8 but lost because of a bad light. STUPID DRIVER!!!

Going into sunday I was about 21 points out of 3rd place and just 12 points ahead of 5th. My plan was to stay in 4th as I have been 5th the last two years I got into the points race, so I wanted to do better. The guy in 3rd lost 1st round and myself and 5th place won. We both kept winning rounds and end up meeting in the 4th round. We had the same reaction time (.056) and was a double breakout with the win going to him. So that put him 2 points behind me. And with my luck he got a bye run in the semi-final. That put him into 3rd and bumped me back to 4th. So it was nice being in 3rd for a few hours!!! That same guy did the same thing to me last year putting me in 5th and him in 4th. But he and his wife and really good, nice people, so I don't mind so much and it was a good race.

Still, it sounds like you've had an overall great season. Losing sucks but when it's to people like you mentioned that does make it easier to swallow. Sounds like my luck in dog trials.

That is the main reason I race at that track is because of the people there. But the best part of sunday is I had to race the points leader (who lost first round and bought back in) and I have only beaten him once in a final (when I bought back in) and he went .022 red against me. Maybe I got into his head!!! That made my weekend all worth while.
