'95 Bonneville with a 3800. I talked to a guy the other day who has a GTP Grand Prix and has pulled these engines alot. He said it is alot easier to pull the engine out the bottom by removing the whole front subframe. Since I don't have a car hoist yet, I will be doing it the old fashion why!!!

Finally got the engine out a little bit ago. Had to go to a funeral this morning, which are never fun. Now I need to order parts and get the intake gaskets replaced. So maybe later in the week I will get the new engine set back in. Now it is time to do a little work on the Luv. Get it ready for the weekend!!! :D

New junk too! Four year old Cub Cadet lawn tractor that has cost me as much in repairs as we paid for it so far. The hydrostatic tranny is now going to crap! :x

Hell, I miss my old junk '95 1500 4x4 extended cab. It was the best rig I've owned and is still going with almost 200,000 miles. A friend of mine now owns it. My '05 which is the first NEW vehicle I've ever bought hasn't been that great of a truck. 71,000 miles on it and I have had a power steering hose leak, clutch fan replaced recently, intermediate fitting in the steering had to be replaced and I have had an intermittent transmission chatter during downshift that sounds like someone dragging a cat backwards across a chalk board while scrubbing his backside with a wire brush soaked in gasoline. At least it gets 14 miles per gallon on the highway.

Nope.... Its not that; I figured it out...... What happens is that cars are jealous of each other. You see, when I work on one of my cars, and the others are running just fine, they decide to all of a sudden need work too!!! For example, the other day I was working on my mustang (my air shocks gave out) and I was driving around in the luv, buying stuff that I needed for the mustang and it was just fine, but as soon as I was done with the mustang now all of a sudden the carb on the luv started leaking gas!!!!
Oh and a couple months ago when I replaced the master and slave cylinder for the clutch on the luv, as soon as I was done with them, the freakin starting solenoid and starter gave out on the stang?!?!?!? When I fixed that, the fuel pump on my dads savanna gave out, ok, I drop the tank and change the fuel pump, frkn van is running better than before. The next day, my mom's town and country decides its time for new heads, frkn overheats in the freeway ( which by the way, the temp needle dint even show). Ok, we got the heads rebuilt and its up and runnin, and now my sister's car water pump gives out!!!!! WTF?!??!?!?!?
They're jealouse I tell you, JEALOUSE!!!!! They fight for attention.. :x

sorry to get a "little" :offtopic

You know, you just might be onto something there.

If you spend too much time on the cars (other than the wifes), she'll get jealous. That can get as costly as the repairs your'e making.
