Congrats!! A friend of mine works at a Wal-Mart tire and lube for the last couple years. He got promoted to service mananger last week. So maybe there is hope for you!!! LOL!!!

I must be doing something right. I was hired as part time but our supervisor said she is going to talk to the store manager about me going full time! Wonder if I can handle the physicall torture! :cry:

I know Walmart gets trashed by a lot of people... BUT, they currently have over 1.4 million employees in the U.S.A. alone!

The majority are full-time.

Looking for a job? They hire people willing to work.

I'm sure it's more fun than running a warehouse. I went from Construction QC, to a company gone under, to 8 months of unemployment in 2008 to running a warehouse. A semi-trained gorilla could do my job but at least it's a job I guess.

I think they start people part time to make sure you aren't a total dork. So thats good news if the are moving you along. 8)

The bigger paycheck should help you handle the toture...
