Was at the track yesterday and on the 3rd time trial the Luv went 9.783. The quickest pass for me!! It was National Dragster Challenge race for the Wally. I got to rd 4 and broke out. Just 2 more rounds and I would have gotten a Wally. I was even doing good on the tree for a change. There is always next year!! :D

Whats a wally? It's a trophy givin out by nhra when you win a nhra race .......kinda like a giant super bowl ring cause not everyone has one.

The Pros and Sportman racers who win a National event get one. Only a few ET Bracket racers who get one are special. It is named after Wally Parks, the founder of NHRA. I am trying to find a picture of one.

i appologize for not knowing what a wally is i have not been to a drag race since i was 4 when i got a piston out of tom mckewen's car. some of us are not fortunate enough to live near a sanctioned track or the money to drive to the nearest one. Conrats then, it is that much cooler now that i have an idea of what one is. Truly that is awesome i think that is a great accomplishment to even get that far.Definitely a great story for grandkids. I hope next time you get one to put above the mantle best of luck to you. and a picture would be great
