I hate pocket change! I can't stand change in my pocket. I throw it into a money jar. I am cleaning out 2 of them today. At one time I would put anything less than a $5 dollar bill in it. Now it is only change. It can add up quickly. Last time I counted it out it was $165.00

I also hate it when my wife will stand in line at the store and dig out change in the bottom of a purse or change in her wallet to pay for something at the store. I just whip out a even buck more, and let them make change. It is a man vs woman thing I think.

Anyone else do this?

Grandmaster of the "Shade Tree" way.. I can't see the yard for all the cars. Come on down and we will sit on the porch and watch the grass grow.

My wife and I throw our change in a 5 gallon water jug we have. Once a year we count it up and head to Vegas to "deposit" it with the rest of our change from the year before.

I hate change too. I give mine to my 6 yr old daughter to put in her piggy bank. Then every once on a while we take it to the bank to put in her savings account.

Change is kind of a pain...but when I'm driving through the Jack in the Box and my Jumbo Jack cost $1.18 I don't want to hand them $2 and get a ton back. I tend to have change in the cars that I keep in the ashtray (I mean change holder, wouldn't want to offend anyone in Calabasas or Beverly Hills and make them think I know what an ashtray is or that I would ever smoke in a car). Otherwise I have a big jar by my desk I throw it in, and then when I know I want a snack or a burger or something I always have money for it. Haven't run the jar dry yet.

I carry it in my pocket and try to use it for those $.18 times. If it gets too full I buy a coffee and doghnut on my way to work with it.

The wife and I toss all our change in a container by the front door. When it gets full we take it and dump it in those change counters at the grocery store.

Kinda cool, we usually end up paying for 1/3 of our trip with change.

doesn't too much of the second one result in too much of the first one?

My wife and I throw our change in a huge glass jar on top of one of our speakers in the living room. and we cash it in for partying money when we go out of town together. So far our energy and stamina has given out way before it all got spent...lol

I love the old people at the store who think they are going to get an "exact change" award.
