In the 70's at the beach, 80's 90's inland and 100's in the deserts around so cal. Very humid for us too, which would be the same as dry for places like Houston.

bleah. I think it got up to 75 today. Really crappy weather in Oregon this summer. If you can call it summer. I think this is about the 8th decent day we've had all year. Except for that 85+ degree day March, followed by a freeze the last week of May. Weird.

We went camping for three days the first week of June and it rained all three days straight. Like I said, bleah.

I went to the store and bought a few things. My ding-dongs were melted, my nutty buddies were melted. My milk had turned into yogurt. This was justing unloading the car and taking them into the house.

I here ya racelife. I have been to Phoenix a number of times. Other than "seenin" a lot of old cars in places, it was hot, hot, hot. But of course it's dry heat. We would travel from LA, Ca to Texas before I 10 was finished.

We would always stop at some thing Big Apple restaurant. Last time I was there my daughter was 6 months old, she's 26 years old now 8O

Everyone (including me) jokes about the "dry" heat. I'd take a dry 114 anytime over a 90 humid day in the south.

It was over 100 in 29 Palms military base on Tuesday. I was there working with a crane. It was almost 100 in Lake Skinner today.

When the Cat. eng. gets hot and fan kicks on in my Pete, the A/C quits working. Then the eng. cools, and the fan shuts off, the A/C works again. So the eng. and I have an agreement. I get cold air on the down hills and it gets a fan on the up hills. :D

I was in Blyth(sp?) California, in the desert. It was something like 114 degrees at dark when went swimming. (Vacation time)
It did feel quite nice. Much better than the south coast...

we will ocasionally hit the 65 to 70 % humidity with the due point in the same area during the monsoons, the temp still stays in the 105 to 110 area so it`s not real pleasant then.I had some relatives come out from boston in aug of last year they couldn`t handle walking across the parking lot. They said your all nuts were leaving. I said spread the word so no else from ther moves out here.

I took my boy scout troop to New Mexico, up in the mountains and it snowed us on May 31th... Shocking to the Texas boys. A troop from Corpus Christi there too. We were at something like 4000-5000 ft. We were from Columbus, Tx , it is like 50ft above sea level... Pass the oxygen mask please.

Have a great trip!!!

Six in the morning, it's 56° F and 83% humidity. Yesterday was pretty warm, I didn't pay attention to the numbers, just turned on the AC for awhile. Here in Washington, about 25 miles SE of Seattle, it's usually pretty nice compared to the rest of the country.

Cooled down a little here today. Got an off shore breeze. It really helped.
