Retirement planning for 2007-2008
If you had purchased $1000.00 of Nortel stock one year ago, it would be worth $49.00 today.
Enron, your $1000.00 would now be $16.50.
Delta Airlines, your $1000.00 would now be $49.00.

But... if you had purchased $1000.00 worth of beer one year ago, and drank all the beer, then turned in the cans for recycling, the refund would have been $214.00.

Based on the above, the best current retirement investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.

It's called the 401-keg plan.

It's easy to keep up with stock prices too. No messin with Yahoo or news week. It is usually posted on a big sign in front of your local recyclers.
