I've never "really" ridden one. Living here in LA, I don't know if you can even buy them.

I used to haul repossessed things at North American Van Lines. We hauled a few snowmobiles. We would ride them around the warehouse and up the ramp into the trailer. Probably wasn't too good for them, but oh well.

I've also never ridden a jet ski. I've ridden several wave runners, the sit down type, but never a stand up jet ski.

Oh no. We live in a desert here , basically. You should see my Quad collection. We hope to go next weekend. A quad in the sand at Glamis has to be much like a snow mobile in the snow. :D

Not to high jack the thread here, but have you been to Glamis? I went for the first time at Christmas. I loved it. 8)

There are probably quite a few snowmobile forums that you could get the info you're looking for. I can honestly say I have no f-ing clue about snowmobiles.

I've seen them at the track before though. They put special skis on the front with little wheels in them, that looked like rollerblade wheels. Then they had special rubber tracks for the back of them. They hauled ass! They were running like 10's in the 1/4!

Did you get the info on your snowmobile that you wanted? I work with a guy who is a snowmobile guru. He is good at making them really fast for racing. I could ask him. Let me know.
