i still cannot get it to let me change my email adress,it will change for the time im logged in but it changes back when i log out

May not be the case, but I know certain email domains don't work or are rejected.

Gmail is one of them I have tried to use, no workie.

Ya, we try to ban the ones that spam the heck out of us.

Sometimes I may go overboard though. Let us know if our banning is causing problems for you guys.

I know gmail is one of the worst. It must be easy for anyone to get an account there. Somehow spammers still manage to register gmail addresses too. Haven't figured that one out yet.

mail.ru is another bad one.

Lately we get about 40 spammers a day that manage to register, and hundreds more that get turned away. The ones that do manage to register get stopped by other rules they can't help but violate.

For example, all in all, the log shows about 200 failed attempts to post spam on here just since Friday.

It's really out of control.

Back in the 'day' Gmail was alright. Actualy had to have an "invite" to sign up.

Now it's wide open and, you can send yourself countless invites to create new accounts, sure the SPAMmers are loving that.
