ARMY NCO (NON-COMMISSIONED) OFFICER PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT RIBBON Instituted: 1981 Criteria: Awarded for successful completion of designated NCO professional development courses. Bronze numerals affixed to the ribbon indicate completion of specific levels as follows: 2 -- indicates completion of the Basic Level course 3 -- denotes completion of the Advanced Level course 4 -- indicates the Senior level (Sergeants Major Academy) course. (at one time the numeral 5 indicated completion of the Sergeants Major Academy but this was rescinded.)

Thinking it was 6 weeks when I went thru as a 13B.

FIAA: Color Guard

wasn't BNCOC...WLC used to be PLDC and it used to be 4 weeks but they condensed it all down into a 2 week course.
BNCOC is now 6-10 weeks depending on your MOS. broken down into 2 week phases

and i dont have to go to the board. i have been holding my E5 for 2 years now.
