Well guys, I got my nissan running today and was trying it out, I built a mud hole a while back, nuthin big, but good to play in, anyways, I came through the mud and at the exit there are some trees your gotta swerve through, I turned my wheel but the truck went striaght and I hit a tree. shoved the radiator into the fan but didnt get a hole in it (thank got for them clutch fans) knocked the front right fender back to the middle of the tire... I backed up and then used my tractor to drag it out into my field, blocked the tires and started pulling on it with the tractor to striaghten it up a bit, while my brother hit it with a sledge hammer.... My right fender, hood, and grill are shot, but I got it pulled out enough so that it doesnt rub any... .... I got a cut above my left eye out of the deal

Here is it after I got it pulled out enough to drive back to the driveway

Here is a piece of wood I got in my tire the same day.

I dont know whether to say "bummer" or "congradulations". I know some of you 4x4 guys live for stuff like that, even though it has to be fixed. There is both, take the one you want.

Bet it was fun though..

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. I hope you are okay health wise. If you're like me, you'll bounce back like a cat with 8 more lives to go. I totalled my 2002 Ford E-150 work van 3 weeks ago. Didn't care much about the work van, just the 82 chevy truck that hit me head-on. The poor guy just finished restoring the truck to the tune of $8000.00. At least you didn't wreck the 4x4chevette. Happy trails! :D

man when my dad wreked his 68 nova (his first car) he slid sideways into the median on a highway. He hit on the pass side but the impact was so hard it cracked the intake on his 350 8O
