Ok - everyone please calm down...there's no need for growling.

And uthe...I'm sorry if my simple little meager attempts at humor offend you. I'm just trying to lighten up everyone's day a little and cheer them all up a bit. None of it was meant to rain on anyone's parade or start any unneccessary drama.

There are a lot of different people here from all over, so it is often times difficult to determine what will or will not offend everyone. But generally speaking...we have always been a pretty tolerant, liberal, and open-minded bunch around here.

Not everything posted here is absolutely 100% politically correct and some of it someone might somehow find a tad bit offensive...but that's just what happens on a large public forum with such a large and diverse group of members.

(And just for the record...there have been way more "shocking" posts than mine posted here....that is for sure.)

And if I might offer a suggestion just for future reference - the proper way to handle anything that anyone posts on here that may annoy you personally is to discuss it with them in private in a PM....but definitely not on the site in front of everyone.

That usually just gets percieved as a public attack and then tends to rile people up a bit and may result in starting an argument....which all things considered, no one ever needs or wants here or on any site like this.

The name of the site is LUVTruck.com, and if I ever get a t-shirt for the LUV I want it to glorify the classic shape and form of the vehicle I came to this site to learn about. The nakedness and smut I can find elsewhere on the web if my inclination is such, but we ALL have a right to express our opinions openly here and not be reprimanded about where or how we ought to do it by any one individual except a moderator.

I applaud open-mindedness and enjoy the views, but it's disconcerting to have pornographic images mixed with mechanics. Still, don't we all remember how appreciative we were of a good pin-up in a body shop? I think Tazman is a real intelligent fella who is loads of fun, and a real asset to have as a friend. He's got a lot of things together and just wants to share his stuff every so often. I just would want us all to get along, and remember the commonality that brought us together in the first place; the Chevy LUV pickup truck. (Which mine is running great by the way)

Hey Taz don't let the cry babys stop you from posting you stuff as if they don't like it they can read first who posted it and chose to not read it.I have no use what so ever for people who go through every detail then have the audacity to say foul and cry about it .I personally don't think that anything you have posted is any where near porn and if others think it is just maybe they should go to a porn site and check it out so they will know what they are talking about.I also like the break and a good laugh so don't quit and keep im rolling.By the way babes and cars do go together. Thats my story and i'm sticking to it.

Pretty tame compared to some shop calendars I've seen from National chains. I respect anyone who objects to such stuff as you have the right to your opinion. I still like to look myself...

I love all the stuff you post TAZ, like tj said, if they wanna cry and get offended then they can just as easily just hit the back button and bam its gone. Dummies...

Some of this stuff can get a guy canned if the wrong person happens to look over his shoulder. A little warning would be nice. Not offended at all, but a little warning please.

Ben has changed the wording for this section to let everyone know that this is where all of the potentially offensive stuff or "not safe for work" posts belong from now on...so I guess you can consider yourself officially warned.

But I will try to add a NSFW to anything that I post that could maybe get anyone in hot water at work from now on.

I didn't mean to start an uproar, (and no tears came out of my eyes) just wanted to state my opinion thats all. I wouldn't allow this stuff on my site, but this isn't my site, so I can't regulate it.

I love this site... I'll just do like I said and keep out of the Lounge. You guys can do whatever else you want here and I'll chill around the mechanic forums.
