Its an 1895 Russian Nagant revolver. My particular one is a dual action officers model that was made in 1915. Got it with the holster cavalry lanyard and take down tools. Its a realy weird revolver, as you lock the hammer back the cylinder actually shifts foward, locking the shell into the barrel. This increases muzzle velocity and makes it suppresable. It shoots 7.62x38R ammo, though i have come to find out it will shoot .32 S&W Long just fine too. All in all, i overpayed for it from a local gun shop, but hey you cant put a price on history...right...
