... I have been looking into E85 ethanol on e85fuel.com. I never realized how good Flex fuel can be, not only for the environment but also for the wallet. Brazil is almost entirely self sufficient on Ethanol and by the end of 2007 hopes to have no need for outside oil. So why have Americans done so?????? Check it out...

I'd like to see more pros and cons on it.
A lot of people can't just go out and buy a new car. Especially one somethings new, it takes a couple of years to get the bugs out.

So far the only Con I have come up with is a 10-15% decrease in Fuel economy. Right now that makes it cost more to run E85, but if they start offering it more broadly than the price essentially should come down because it is cheaper to manufacture and shipping cost would be less. Guess we will have to wait and see.
