well today was the opening day at the local track and cody took the luv out. it rained most of the morning, but h got 2 runs in in the afternoon.
the 1st run didnt work out too well. it bogged off the line and then had a real bad miss up in the RPMS. it turned out to be a 14 something run.

the 2nd i didnt see but i guess he launched real good and it ran great. he turned a 12.9 @110.

now heres the bad news. when cody was making the turn on to the return road, the rear driver axle broke and the axle, drum and tire all came out. it ended up fallin on the bed and makin a big mess at the end of the track and that was the end of his day. i guess cody and his brother and some other people picked the truck back up and put the axle back in so he could load it on his trailer. so now hs gonna be building his 12 bolt, and it gonna 4 link or ladder bar the rear.

heres a pic of the bed damage.

notice where the drum is?

and a good shot of the whole truck with the new wheels and seats.

dont worry though. were gonna ahve this thing back up and running soon.
