Hey Rez, when I said I hated Grunge, I didnt mean any of your music being classified as grunge. I was talking about the bands I despise like Nirvana and Pearl Jam. I hate them as when the came along, music stopped being fun and entertaining. I can see how you took that out of my post that I was saying your music was grunge, which was my bad and not what I was implying, but I wasnt saying anything against what you listen too. I respect your tastes and am glad you arent one of the mindless followers out there that only likes what the radio tells them. I have to get most of my tunes from bands that are overseas now as the record companies have really F*up the music scene here in th US.
and ps
Where do you think the Metal gods live??? :D

O.K. thats cool, I just wanted to make sure every 1 knew that, I may be 18 but i by no means like most of the music that is being but out these days, sorry if i have been bashing on every 1 but the last couple days of school have been rough and i just needed to vent a little, maybe tomorow i'll be a little less agitated. kind of silly how some big avatar started this whole big mess about music  , but anyway you guys have the right to listen to what ever music you want to thats none of my buisness, even though I may not share your taste in music. at least we all have one thing in common.....WE ALL LOVE LUVS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

which is cool, all of us having diferent views is what makes this forum such an enjoyable place to hang out at, soo i guess what i'm trying to say is sorry to all of the metal heads out there on this forum, i was just a little agrivated when i wrote the original post, but that does not excuss me from bashing you guys, I hope you all can find it in your hearts (and LUVs) to forgive me for being a hater and not a LUVer, thanks

I try to be open minded for the most part when it comes to music. I like a lot of different stuff. I've seen Hank Williams Jr. and Merle Haggard in concert, and I've also seen Iron Maiden with Anthrax live. I'd have to say I'm basically a metalhead, but I don't rule out anything right off. I give it a chance to suck first. :) Here's a few of my favs current or from years past:

Iron Maiden "Just 16, pickup truck, outa money, outa luck"
ACDC "I got holes in my shoes, and I'm way overdue, got the down payment blues"
Manowar "None can fight the power, none can fight the wind"
Offspring "He's Killboy powerhead..."
Steve Earle "Gotta lot of memories tied up in this place, so much time spent in so little space"
The Meatmen "I layed it down into turn one, cranked it down full bore. With my air-cooled transverse in-line Four Stroke Four..."
Dwight Yoakum "The only time I feel the pain, is in the sunshine and the rain"
Everclear "I am a loser geek, crazy with an evil streak..."
Motorhead "Sixteen years old, when I went to the war, to fight for a land fit for heroes..."

I'm also kind of partial to old drinking songs: fog on the tyne, hats off to beer me boys, Whiskey in the Jar, bog down in the valley, Bugger Off, and such.

Oh yeah, no mullet here, now or ever. I've had long hair for sure, but I never even went for the "business in the front" look in the slightest. Either grow it long or cut it off.
