If you get a chance to be in this or see one of these , GO . This was a super cool deal . I got 2 days of racing in for $15 . They gave me a t-shirt that says pinks racer that cannot be bought , you have to be in one to get it , A wrist band was put on my arm to link me and the truck # together with my picture , a neck badge for racer credentials and access . I got 4 passes in friday night and 2 saturday . They chose 10.00 cars , so I didn't make the show . The cars they choose were super close . My wife is still talking about the jet car and monster truck . quickluv and rbman (Rick) showed up as did Donnie (luvondope) with one of the old LUVTruck window stickers that now graces my windsheild . The truck was in the 11's all night and went 11.65 for a best pass . Both of my saturday passes were by hand drop from Rich . There where something like 20,000 in attendance . We got a great pit spot cause we got in early friday . I got a great picture of the truck with the tire in the air and now my wife is all pumped up and says I need to run atleast 10.50's with a big wheelie . All in all a good experience , except for the sun burn . there were about 4 luvs there not counting mine . Looking forward to the next time they come .

$15, you can't beat that! Sounds like you had a blast! can't wait to see some pics...we know you are going to share

hey hot rod i saw you out there and the truck looked good, i got a couple of pic's of you and will try to send them to ya....truck looks good.

There are a couple of pics of our pits in the back ground at conroecruisers.com under the pinks link . I could not get them to work . My wife showed up at noon on saturday and I forgot my camera . Of the few I got none were real good . Thanks for the complement and look forward to seeing the pics .

That's our pits . The yellow 69 notch mustang ( aka the nucleur bannana ) is a 408 winsor based stroker with a c5 and trans brake . He put 250 #'s of play sand in it to make it run 11.51 . It has no cage . The other car , that's off getting teched when pic was snapped , was a 3rd gen camaro with 505 Brodex headed BB chevy . It went 9.85 and backed that with a 9.87 . Thanks

I saw a few LUV's in here. Pretty long vid. Hotrod's @ the 3:30 mark in the staging lanes and around the 7:30 mark doing a burnout. They didn't show the pass There's a bonus ricer crash further thru.
