sorry for the future loss there. i was 8 when my dad made me take odie our dog to the vet to be put down. i cried all the way home, and punched my dad in the nuts for making me go through that. served him right...

It's a damn hard decision for sure...I had to put my 11 year old beagle down 2 1/2 years ago because of cancer and a hard as I tried not to, the tears rolled from me and both of my grown sons.

I cried like a baby when I lost Heidi. Almost 3 months later its hard not to see her out there in the back yard. My thoughts are with you during this very difficult time.
