I like the old ones better. It looks allright though, atleast they are adding some 'mustle' into new cars instead of all those fart cars. Its like what the GM did with the GTO, but they just don't make cars like they used to.

I have this picture in my mind that in about 10 years, GM will bring back the Camaro with front wheel drive and a 4 banger motor.

say it isn't so... the only thing even remotely charger about the car is a hint of the roof line and that it's a dodge.... but i will give them credit that it seems to be a better car to use the name than that little POS charger they made in the '80's

Here now!!!

I wouldn't be calling them 80's Chargers POS. If my memory serves me correctly they got about 10-15 more horsepower than the Mustang of the same time period...and they were substantially lighter.

But I do agree they were ugly!

I think this new "Charger" is a real nice lookin' car, but I think a name like "Monaco" or "Polara" would suit it much better being its a four-door and all

some of those 80's chargers were not bad on the scoot.. had a little shelby charger for a while and i swapped all the stuff off it onto a rampage truck/car thing. made for a unique ride. and i agree about the looks of the new one.. not too bad but maybe fury would be the best bet

The front grill looks like a dodge pick up grill  I do think it is a descent lookin car, but I don't think it would be in my top 5 of picks.

Well, it could be worse. At least the GTO has some guts. GM definitly had some follies in the '80s, like the Nova. It went from decent to discusting!! I'm anxious to see the new Charger, however I have to agree that the older models were the best!!

reminds me of the new mustang that's out now... or atleast the "nose" does...
but it does have a bit of "coke bottle" stlying to it though as you see on the rear doors and rear 1/4'rs

i'll have to mention this to my dad, he was sorta intrested in the 99 r/t they wanted to produce but the whole natural gas deal turned him off

to make a long story short i used to drink and smoke pot like a fiend
since i was 11 ( clean for over a year now ) still drink beer no hard shit that much
for those of you who know where i grew up you should know brea canyon road
fun road in a fast car..... well it was some time after midnight i was out partying with the bros
coming back from raising hell in the O.C. doing about 110 through the canyon i saw a "F" ing coyote and tried to miss the s.o.b. and lost it and hit that pole that used to be by the shell oil co access road near tonner canyon
we were so wasted that we didnt get hurt to bad just bad bruises but the car well the trunk was down in the bushes me and my buddy are lucky to be alive a few inches more and we would be toast.
PLEASE IF YOU READ THIS LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE
DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE
you might not die but you may kill someone you love or someone else loves!
